Full Moon Time

This is a special one I experienced in October 2017, 4 years ago, while I was leading a 200hr YTT. A musing that perfectly appeared just as I'm about to start my next 200hr YTT training.

And so, it goes...we arrive at another Full Moon.

But this one feels a little more special for me than the one's past. As I sit in the monsoon weather of Thailand, on the gorgeous island of Koh Samui. I am surrounded by amazing, strong women. As we share in our Mandala YMR 200hr Yoga Teacher Training. Feeling blessed and nourished is an understatement, to say the least.

My 4.30 am wake ups are made easy, by the people around me, as we share and give energy to one another. Souls colliding in a beautiful way, stories from around the globe. Laughter, tears and sweat on our yoga mats, we share together, as we push forward through our aching muscles, tired bones, and weary eyes. And yet here we are...

My heart is warmed at the thought of the fact, we have waited our whole entire lives to meet each other at this very moment in time. Drawing on the feminine Luna vibes we meet, sharing in a releasing ceremony to shed what no longer serves us, to make way for our new, and release the bounds of our old, so we can be the brightest star in our own sky. Shinning at our fullest potential and committing to self.

When we un-tie the bounds of our minds, we are free. When we surrender the battle of our head and heart, endless love prevails. When we give space to sit alone and breathe, calmness is becoming, and when we relax the expectations off our shoulders, we can finally surrender to the one truth...

We are enough.

Something occurs as we grow... doubt seeds are planted, self-loathing, becomes as simple as getting dressed, and to feel guilt, is something we were taught by the elders around us. It takes minutes to teach these conditionings, but it takes us a lifetime of consistent work to re-wire our pathways so we can learn to adore each part within us, all the time, not just when we choose.

"She is beautiful. But you really cannot comprehend it, until you understand, that she is a result of the pieces that she refused to let life take from her..."
