Liver Cleanse Smoothie

For times when we get a bit carried away with celebrations and festivities, here's a delicious cleanse that your little liver will thank you for!
Prep Time: 10 minutes
​Cook Time:  0 minutes
​Total Time: 10 minutes
  • 1 banana
  • 1/2 green apple - cored and peeled 
  • 1 carrot - peeled 
  • 1 handful baby spinach
  • 1 thumbnail size of turmeric root (if necessary can substitute with a tsp turmeric powder)
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley
  • 3 walnuts 
  • 1/2 lemon, juiced
  • 2 tbsp hemp seeds
  • 3/4 cup orange juice or non-dairy milk of choice
  1. Roughly chop your apple, carrot and walnuts
  2. Add all ingredients in a blender, and mix until smooth.
  3. Taste the smoothie and see if the sweetness is to your liking.
  4. Feel free to add a little more fruit if you want something sweeter. Serve immediately.
  5. You can store smoothie in a jar for up to 2 days.
