Join me for a total 200hr Yoga Teacher Training immersion


This November, join me for a month-long intensive 200hr YTT to immerse yourself into a life-changing yogic experience. For 30 days, you will be living, breathing, eating, and practicing yoga with a group of fellow students with the same hunger to connect, learn and commit to the traditions of yoga. 

Our space to learn is the wonderful Open Mind Space in Newcastle. Each morning we will meet early in the new upstairs shala, our private cocoon that will provide a nurturing, safe space for you to blossom. 

I have the honour of leading the training. But it cannot be done without the amazing Mandala YMR team who come together from different backgrounds and lineages to share their knowledge, passion and devotion with you. It’s time to dive deep and learn what kind of teacher you will become, your levels of resilience and uptake of knowledge.
Our experienced and accredited teachers will guide you through each energetic day. Your training will be taught in Sanskrit and English as we are dedicated to upholding the custom and culture of Yoga as a practical life aid - not a religion. We give you the tools and attention for you to expand into the best version of you in the here and now! Grasp what it means to be a teacher in servitude to your students. 
If you are truly ready for your 200 YTT, you will be prepared for:
  • A month of long, exhausting, intense days
  • Sharing everything with a group of new people, and maybe some personalities you find testing
  • An emotional journey of love, hate, exhaustion, insecurities, pride and pure joy 
  • To learn learn learn, and after your day in the sala, do some homework
  • More truth bombs, like this one
  • Leaving not as a teacher, but still as a student, ready to immerse themselves further and build on the foundations we have given you
  • The most fulfilling, cherishing, beautiful experience of your life that will take you and your heart by surprise


This is your time to dive deep and learn what kind of teacher you will become, discover your levels of resilience and your strength in absorbing knowledge. Our 200hr Teacher Training has been designed to take you out of your norm and immerse you in a Shala-style environment giving you the safety and comfort of a home away from home. You’ll be nestled safely under my wing for a month until you are ready to fly!


Typical Day Schedule

  • 6.00am - 6.30am - Meditation
  • 6.30am - 8.30am - Practice
  • 8.30am - 9.30am - Mantra and Sutras
  • 9.30am - 10.30am - Breakfast
  • 10.30am - 1.30pm - Theory/Pose Clinic/Teaching Assessments
  • 1.30pm - 3.30pm -  Lunch Break
  • 3.30pm - 5.00pm - Theory, Anatomy, Philosophy
  • 5.00pm - 6.30pm - Meditation and Evening Practice




200hr Yoga Alliance Accredited Yoga Teacher Certification

"Be someone who makes everyone else feel like they are somebody” – that’s a quote I’ve seen Tara use in her Instagram feed (worth following for gorgeous photos and sentiments). She is definitely the kind of person who makes everyone she meets feel special, listened to, and cared for.


I went on one of her yoga retreats in Morocco. Although I am fit and do pilates, this was my first ever taste of yoga. I loved it – and I’m sure that’s largely down to her teaching. I loved working on individual positions as well as the, quite frankly, addictive vinyasa flow sequences. She was very attentive to the beginners in our group and I never felt out of my depth, but at the same time I know she catered for the advanced yogis too, always providing different options. And she pushed me and other beginners to reach our potential - I felt supported to try more advanced positions when I wanted to.


I got one-on-one time with Tara where she helped me come up with a series of moves to do at home, which I have used alongside her YouTube videos. 


Tara’s teaching style is varied and enriched with her deep knowledge, learned through her many years working as a teacher and studying around the world. She really knows her stuff – whether it is technical points on a position, information on how best to deal with an injury, meditation techniques, or the spiritual and intellectual side of yoga. And she has the most amazing, moving and motivational playlists to keep you going while you’re on the mat!
